Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, is seeking a visionary Field CTO to serve as a high-impact technical advisor for strategic prospects and customers. This role positions you as a peer to client executives, translating complex business transformations into scalable technical strategies while championing Process Intelligence, Agentic AI, and Enterprise Modernization. Key responsibilities include: • Executive Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, aligning their long-term strategic goals with Celonis' technical vision and roadmap. • Strategic Architecture & Roadmap: Lead data, cloud, and innovation strategy for the company's largest global accounts using methodologies like Capability Mapping to identify high-value opportunities. • Innovation Leadership: Architect first-of-a-kind solutions using emergent technologies like Agentic AI to solve complex enterprise challenges. • Sales & Business Impact: Partner with Sales and Value Engineering teams to drive revenue through new customer acquisition and strategic upselling. • Product Advocacy: Act as a critical feedback loop between Product & Engineering teams and the market, ensuring customer voice shapes future offerings. • Thought Leadership: Develop and deliver customer-facing position papers, assets, and presentations establishing Celonis as a leader in architecture and innovation. Required qualifications: • 15–20 years of relevant experience, ideally as CTO at a consulting firm, Field CTO at a software vendor, or Director/VP of Enterprise Architecture at a major corporation. • Proven track record presenting complex technical visions to C-suite stakeholders with emphasis on business value. • Deep expertise in Enterprise Modernization, EA Methodologies, and Agentic AI. • Technical versatility spanning high-level architecture diagrams to hands-on demos. • Strong background in Data Architecture, API ecosystems, and cloud-native SaaS solutions (Salesforce, ServiceNow). • Strong knowledge of at least one ERP (SAP or Oracle) or domain expertise in highly regulated industries like Financial Services. • MSc in Computer Science or equivalent IT-related field. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Celonis, OCPM, and Case Centric Data Pipelines; certifications in TOGAF/Zachman, AWS/Azure/GCP, or ESB/ETL tools; and experience across multiple domains and industries.
