Boston Scientific is seeking a Field Clinical Specialist to provide clinical, technical, and educational support for their Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) product portfolio across Central England, with primary focus on East Anglia and neighboring territories. This is a permanent, remote field-based hybrid role requiring approximately four days per week traveling to hospital sites.
You will serve as the primary clinical resource for CRM case support, troubleshooting, and account management. Key responsibilities include: educating customers on proper clinical usage of CRM products; supporting implant procedures and device troubleshooting both remotely and in follow-up clinics; providing ongoing training to cardiac physiologists and clinicians on product developments and device programming; supporting procedures within cardiac catheter labs; delivering initial and ongoing support of the Boston Scientific CRM portfolio; providing commercial insights on product usage and clinical preferences to account and regional managers; supporting the commercial team in meeting with existing and new clinical customers; discussing how Boston Scientific solutions address hospital strategic and clinical service goals; developing relationships with clinical stakeholders through meetings and conferences; identifying and sharing new key decision makers with the account management team; responding promptly to customer needs and complaints; and sharing relevant information with management and support functions.
You may occasionally be required to provide clinical support to colleagues in neighboring regions and at a national level. The role is based in the East Anglia area to best serve the territory, though multiple UK office locations are available.
Requirements: Successfully completed qualification in clinical physiology specializing in cardiology, or equivalent professional experience. Professional experience in a clinical role within hospitals or industry, preferably within CRM. Strong communication skills with ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details. Ability to rapidly adapt to a dynamic marketplace. Strong team player with collaborative approach and cross-functional working capability. Self-motivated with ability to influence others. Flexible, adaptable, focused, and consistent. Willing and able to travel extensively as required, including occasional overnight stays.
