Orca Security, a $1.8B cloud security unicorn, is hiring a Field CISO / Technical Evangelist to serve as a trusted advisor to CISOs and security leaders. This role bridges technical expertise and executive presence, translating complex cloud security concepts into actionable guidance for both security practitioners and business leaders.
Key responsibilities include advising CISOs on reducing business risk using Orca's CNAPP platform, supporting strategic deals through executive conversations on architecture and positioning, and representing Orca as a thought leader at industry conferences and roundtables. You'll relay customer needs, regulatory shifts, and competitive intelligence back to Product and Engineering teams, serve as executive sponsor to Customer Advisory boards, and own customer enablement content strategy.
You'll become an expert Orca user with deep console and API knowledge, contribute helper scripts and tools to the Github repository, and build relationships with CISO communities, analysts, and industry peer groups to strengthen Orca's credibility.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience (CISO, Deputy CISO, or equivalent), strong cloud security knowledge across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and experience in technical product sales. You should excel at creating and delivering content through webinars, interviews, and panels, and be able to communicate complex technical topics to business audiences and vice versa. Up to 25% travel required.
