Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing cybersecurity company that has built NodeZero, an autonomous penetration testing platform used by organizations ranging from educational institutions to Global 100 enterprises and government agencies. The company was founded by former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators and startup engineers focused on helping organizations proactively identify and fix exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. This role is a dedicated Federal IT Enterprise Services Administrator responsible for managing Horizon3's federal-specific IT infrastructure and supporting federal end-users in a fully remote environment. You will serve as the primary systems administrator for the company's federal environment, with a focus on identity management, collaboration tools, and compliance. Key responsibilities include leading the configuration and maintenance of the Federal Okta instance to ensure secure identity lifecycle management and SSO integrations; managing and optimizing Gov Slack and Google Workspace with attention to permissions, shared drives, and secure communication channels; providing front-line technical support for federal end-users, troubleshooting access and software issues specific to the federal environment; authoring and maintaining knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures for federal system usage; overseeing system security by managing user permissions and performing regular access audits; and assisting in IT security investigations and audits to ensure federal systems meet required regulatory standards. You will also provide secondary support for commercial IT services as part of the broader Horizon3 IT team and help synchronize workflows between federal and commercial environments. This role requires strong proficiency in Okta, Slack, and Google Workspace; excellent technical troubleshooting skills in a remote-first environment; clear communication abilities for supporting users and documenting processes; and meticulous attention to detail regarding user permissions and security configurations. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree, military service equivalent, or applicable certifications, with 1-3 years of experience managing IT systems with a focus on SaaS identity and collaboration tools. U.S. work authorization and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance are required; an active clearance is a plus. The role is fully remote with up to 5% travel for company-approved events.
