Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing cybersecurity company that has built NodeZero, an autonomous penetration testing platform used by government agencies, enterprises, and managed security service providers. The platform helps organizations proactively identify and remediate exploitable attack vectors at scale across internal, external, cloud, and hybrid environments. As a Federal Customer Success Manager, you will own a strategic portfolio of high-value federal civilian, Department of Defense, and Defense Industrial Base customers. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, driving adoption, value realization, retention, and expansion across your book of business. This is a foundational role in building out the post-sales function for a fast-growing company in a dynamic market. Key responsibilities include managing customer relationships across various government verticals with compliance requirements (CMMC, FedRAMP); providing expert guidance on leveraging NodeZero in unclassified and classified environments; conducting regular business reviews and check-ins tailored to federal customer needs; partnering with IT and Security teams to interpret pentest results and guide offensive security strategy; identifying expansion opportunities and driving renewals; acting as a customer advocate to product and engineering teams; and developing repeatable playbooks and documentation to scale technical success. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams. The role requires deep understanding of enterprise security, cloud infrastructure, and offensive security practices. You'll manage metrics including ARR, NRR, and GRR, and maintain detailed customer health records in CRM platforms like Salesforce and Gainsight. The position is remote but may require up to 20% travel to customer sites or local office locations. Candidates based in the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area are preferred due to proximity to federal customers and the company's presence in the region.
