Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute backbone for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—with an energy-first approach to power AI innovation. Reporting to the VP of Talent, this Executive Recruiter role is responsible for building Crusoe's leadership team as the company scales from pioneer to market leader. You will own end-to-end executive search processes for C-suite, VP, and Senior Director-level positions across all business functions including Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive search strategies for critical leadership roles, partnering closely with founders and board members to define role requirements, leveraging and expanding candidate networks within cloud computing, data center, and AI industries, and managing sophisticated interview processes involving multiple senior stakeholders. You will proactively build relationships with top-tier executive talent through industry events and strategic networking, ensure exceptional candidate experience, and craft compelling value propositions for executive candidates considering high-growth infrastructure opportunities. You bring 10+ years of executive search experience with at least 4 years focused on technology companies, a proven track record of successfully placing C-suite and VP-level executives at high-growth technology or infrastructure companies, and deep understanding of tech markets such as data centers, GPUs, AI/ML, and cloud infrastructure. An extensive existing network of relationships with executive talent in relevant industries is essential, along with experience working with venture-backed or private equity-backed startups and strong understanding of high-growth startup dynamics. Bonus qualifications include previous experience at top-tier executive search firms (Daversa, Russell Reynolds, Korn Ferry, Heidrick & Struggles), in-house executive recruiting at high-growth tech companies, familiarity with cloud computing, AI infrastructure, climate tech, or energy sectors, and established relationships with technology executives in Silicon Valley and major tech hubs. This position requires full-time presence in the San Francisco office 5 days per week.
