OpenAI's Enterprise Marketing team is seeking an Executive Programs Lead for the Americas to build and lead a portfolio of high-impact customer engagements with C-suite executives. This is a senior people-leadership role responsible for owning regional strategy, team development, and quality standards across executive briefings, recurring forums, advisory programs, and scaled engagement formats.
You will own the full lifecycle of executive programs—from portfolio strategy and team leadership to operational execution and business impact measurement. Your mandate is to transform high-stakes customer moments into a durable, scalable business capability that advances critical relationships while maintaining the customization and judgment that exceptional executive experiences require.
Key responsibilities include: setting regional strategy and priorities for the executive engagement portfolio; leading and developing a high-performing regional team; translating enterprise priorities into a focused, disciplined portfolio; building an operating model that balances consistent quality with responsible scale; ensuring programs bring together the right customer context, narrative, speakers, demos, and follow-through; partnering with Sales leadership to connect engagements to meaningful customer objectives; establishing measures that link customer insight, relationship progress, business results, and operational health; managing regional resources, budget, vendors, and capacity; and representing the Americas in global planning while preserving local ownership where needed.
You will partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Research, Solutions, Customer Success, Events, and OpenAI executives. The role requires moving comfortably between long-term strategic design and the critical details of live engagements. Travel across the Americas and occasional global travel are expected, as is regular in-person participation in executive briefings and preparation activities.
Ideal candidates bring 10+ years building or leading executive programs, customer engagement, enterprise marketing, experience centers, or comparable enterprise capabilities. You should have demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams with accountability for visible portfolios, not just individual programs. Experience transforming high-touch customer capabilities from reactive/bespoke delivery toward strategic, scalable models is valued. Strong commercial judgment, credibility with senior Sales leaders and executives, and the ability to distinguish exceptional executive experiences from polished events are essential. You should excel at rigorous prioritization, constructive saying no, and making difficult resource decisions while maintaining stakeholder trust. You operate credibly in fast-moving technical environments and build effective cross-functional partnerships. You move fluidly between setting direction, developing leaders, reviewing systems, and stepping into critical moments personally.
