GitLab is seeking a Senior Talent Brand Manager to lead employer brand strategy and recruitment marketing initiatives. In this role, you'll shape how current and prospective employees understand GitLab's culture, values, and career opportunities. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing GitLab's talent brand strategy, translating the employer value proposition into clear, differentiated candidate messaging - Designing integrated campaigns and building scalable content systems across careers pages, social media, employer review platforms, talent communities, events, and recruiter channels - Setting editorial direction and collaborating with cross-functional partners to tell authentic stories about team members, culture, career growth, and impact - Advising Talent Acquisition and business leaders on audience strategy and campaigns that support hiring priorities and candidate conversion - Optimizing candidate journey touchpoints to ensure transparent, consistent, and relevant communication throughout the hiring process - Using performance data, audience insights, and market trends to set priorities, evaluate results, and communicate impact You'll bring significant experience in talent brand, employer brand, or recruitment marketing, with a track record of developing and leading brand strategies across multiple audiences, regions, or hiring priorities. Strong storytelling, writing, and editorial skills are essential. You have experience leading complex campaigns with multiple stakeholders and external partners, and you're skilled at using data and research to improve outcomes. You can influence senior stakeholders, create structure from ambiguity, and thrive in an asynchronous, distributed environment. The Talent Brand team sits within GitLab's People Group and partners closely with Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Social Media, and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging teams. You'll help set the team's direction, strengthen GitLab's employer narrative, support hiring priorities, and extend the impact of a focused team through strategic thinking and execution.
