Scopely Explore is seeking an Executive Producer for Pikmin Bloom to lead the game organization and shape the future of one of the world's leading location-based live service games. This role owns execution across the entire game organization, enabling teams to consistently deliver exceptional player experiences through operational excellence, cross-functional leadership, and predictable execution. Working closely with the General Manager and functional leaders, you will establish production practices, operating rhythms, and organizational processes that allow globally distributed teams—primarily across Japan and the United States—to operate cohesively as one team. Your responsibilities span from long-term roadmap planning to LiveOps execution, ensuring strategy translates into clear plans, teams remain aligned, risks are proactively managed, and the organization consistently delivers high-quality outcomes. Key responsibilities include leading planning and execution across the game organization; partnering with leadership to translate vision and strategy into actionable roadmaps and milestones; establishing world-class production practices and planning processes; fostering alignment across Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and external partners; building strong relationships with key external partners including Nintendo; developing and growing a high-performing Production organization; maintaining comprehensive project understanding and proactively identifying risks; ensuring production supports player-centric development; driving scalable processes for long-term live service operation; providing visibility into project health and execution risks; and championing AI-powered workflows that improve planning, communication, documentation, and production visibility. Required qualifications include proven experience leading production for successful live service mobile games; demonstrated track record establishing production practices across cross-functional teams; experience leading globally distributed development teams and collaborating with external partners; strong understanding of software development methodologies and modern game production practices; excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills; exceptional ability to influence and lead without direct authority; strong judgment in identifying and mitigating risks; demonstrated ability to design and implement AI-native workflows and automation; passion for building high-performing teams; and fluency in both English and Japanese. Desirable experience includes leading production on globally operated free-to-play mobile games, partnering with major entertainment or gaming IP holders, operating games with seasonal LiveOps and continuous content delivery, building or scaling Production organizations through growth, familiarity with geolocation-based or outdoor gaming experiences, and deep appreciation for player-first product development and long-term live service operations. The role requires in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
