Cohere is a leading enterprise AI company building cutting-edge foundation models and products for businesses. The company is positioned to become the transatlantic leader in sovereign AI and is seeking an Executive Producer, Executive Communications to own and evolve Cohere's narrative globally.
In this cross-functional role, you will partner directly with C-Suite and VP executives to determine how Cohere communicates with customers, partners, and employees. You will execute Cohere's strategic narrative—connecting sovereign AI, transatlantic growth, and product story—primarily through video, podcast, and in-house production formats.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and execute Cohere's strategic narrative across three storytelling surfaces: Executive Thought Leadership, Policy Storytelling, and Corporate Storytelling
- Partner with VP Global Communications on narrative architecture and content strategy execution
- Conduct audits and gap analyses across senior voices (co-founding team, CFO, Chief AI Officer, SVP Government Affairs, VPs)
- Develop content playbooks for predictable inflection moments (regulatory milestones, product launches, customer wins, IPO milestones)
- Partner with Marketing to create content for company accounts
- Stand up the production function including stage capture systems, content atomization workflows, and freelance crew networks
- Build AI-enabled workflows using Cohere's own products (Command, North, Embed, Rerank) for transcript-to-asset pipelines and executive prep automation
- Initiate executive stage content capture and distribution at major events with lean, scalable production
- Refine and systematize content production workflows with predictable cadences
- Develop flagship thought leadership pieces and corporate storytelling output
- Scale successful surfaces based on impact analysis and team capacity
You will grow the personal thought leadership profiles of Cohere's senior voices on their own channels while delivering Cohere's narrative to the market through company channels. This role requires building trust with executives, creating production workflows from scratch, and leveraging AI tools to scale content operations.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience building executive and corporate narratives from ideation through execution, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth tech or AI environments
- Adept at creating production workflows from scratch (stage capture systems, content atomization pipelines)
- Experience in high-paced broadcast television environment
- Experience building trust and rapport with executives and senior leaders
- Scrappy mindset; thrive thinking outside the box and solving problems creatively
- Highly organized and process-driven with strong project management skills and bias for action
- High levels of creativity in communications—format, channel, and storytelling
- Comfortable navigating organizational dynamics and building relationships across all levels
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with ruthless prioritization skills
- Experience in strategic communications, content production, and executive storytelling
- Ability to build scalable systems and leverage AI tools
- Comfort managing production workflows and adapting content strategies based on performance data
- Experience in tech/AI environments and familiarity with Cohere's product suite valued
