Salary: USD 185,785 - 255,455 / annual
WelbeHealth is a public benefit company founded in 2015 that provides comprehensive medical and social care to socioeconomically disadvantaged seniors, enabling them to remain in their communities rather than enter nursing homes. The company has grown to over 1,000 team members and is rapidly expanding, having hired 300 in the last six months with plans to hire another 400 in the next year.
The Executive Director role functions as the CEO of an individual clinic within this high-growth environment. You will own the clinic's P&L, guide and develop the leadership team, collaborate with finance to design and operate budgets, work with marketing and enrollment to grow participant numbers, and provide executive-level service delivery.
Key responsibilities include monitoring care delivery quality and ensuring staff adherence to regulations, policies, and WelbeHealth best practices; developing and overseeing the management team; collaborating with finance on budget development and operational planning; building relationships with external stakeholders including community providers, regulators, and legislators; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards; and participating in strategic planning to refine operations best practices across programs.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Social Welfare, Gerontology or related field plus three years of managerial/administrative/supervisory experience in social or health services (or a Master's degree plus one year equivalent experience); five years developing and guiding programs for vulnerable seniors; at least three years of supervisory experience in health or social services with senior care program experience preferred; a track record of driving patient experience improvements; demonstrated ability to mentor and develop leaders and care team members; and experience in data-driven organizations leveraging reports and data for oversight.
