Cowboy Space Corporation is building space-based solar energy infrastructure to solve the global energy crisis. The company develops modular, scalable satellites that collect sunlight in Low Earth Orbit to transmit energy via infrared lasers, power on-orbit computing clusters, and provide secure optical data transport. Founded in 2024 by Baiju Bhatt (co-founder of Robinhood), Cowboy Space has raised ~$365 million from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, and Breakthrough Energy Ventures. The team includes veterans from SpaceX, Blue Origin, NASA, and other leading aerospace companies.
As Executive & Corporate Communications Partner, you will be the strategic communications advisor to the CEO and executive team, owning both executive visibility and corporate messaging. You will build and lead a communications roadmap to strengthen executive profiles as space technology leaders, develop distinct personal narratives for each leader, and position them for high-impact speaking engagements, interviews, and podcasts. You will prepare executives for media appearances, conduct briefing sessions, and monitor visibility against company priorities using metrics like share-of-voice and coverage.
You will also own corporate communications—drafting press releases, managing company announcements, and maintaining consistent messaging across milestones and partnerships. You will manage the company's social and organic channels (LinkedIn, X, YouTube) and own strategy for the website and digital properties. You will coordinate with external communications partners on media strategy and build direct relationships with reporters across space, technology, business, and policy media. Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications (your reporting manager), you will ensure executive and corporate positioning remains accurate, timely, and aligned with broader company messaging. You will provide communications guidance during sensitive or rapidly evolving situations, including crisis response.
This role demands excellent writing and editing, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to challenge and sharpen ideas with senior leaders. You will help executives communicate authentically while reinforcing a clear, consistent company narrative.
