Distyl AI is an applied AI technology company partnering with Fortune 500 institutions across telecom, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, and consumer goods to rearchitect critical operations for the AI frontier. The company is backed by leading investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, Coatue, and DST Global. This Executive Business Partner role supports the CEO across a demanding, fast-paced environment spanning Fortune 500 executives, investors, board members, candidates, and media engagement across multiple cities weekly. This is a strategic operations role that goes beyond traditional executive assistance. Key responsibilities include: managing complex, ambiguous multi-step projects from conception to resolution (e.g., securing urgent international visas, arranging high-stakes meetings, developing strategic relationships); delivering exceptional external experiences for all stakeholders interacting with the Office of the CEO through precise logistics, thoughtful communication, and adaptive problem-solving; leveraging and building CEO-to-C-suite relationships through creative outreach, mutual contacts, and executive networks; and establishing an operating rhythm for the CEO's office through daily priority summaries, weekly relationship reviews, meeting preparation standards, and retrospectives to increase proactivity and reduce CEO escalations. The role requires 12+ years supporting senior executives in high-growth technology or similarly complex environments, proven experience as a senior Executive Business Partner, exceptional prioritization and execution at high precision, comfort in fast-moving startup/scale-up settings, strong judgment with sensitive information, excellent communication and stakeholder management, systems thinking to create structure, and high emotional intelligence. The position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid model requiring 3+ days per week in office (Tuesday–Thursday).
