Boulevard is seeking a Senior Executive Business Partner to serve as a dedicated operational partner to the CEO, based in Nashville. This is a strategic role focused on creating CEO leverage—not a traditional executive assistant position.
You will own the CEO's complex calendar, treating time as a strategic portfolio. This means proactively sequencing focus time for R&D, product, and AI work alongside Board/investor relationships, key customer partnerships, executive decision forums, and high-leverage external opportunities. You'll build deep context on company priorities, OKRs, product roadmap, Board expectations, and market signals to ensure calendar decisions reflect business impact.
Key responsibilities include:
**Calendar & Strategic Partnership**: Manage the CEO's calendar to protect time for highest-leverage work. Proactively manage conflicts and tradeoffs by bringing clear options and recommendations. Prepare concise briefs ahead of key meetings, clarifying context, decisions needed, risks, and next steps. Maintain high meeting hygiene with clear purpose, right attendees, timely pre-reads, and explicit follow-up owners. Act as an early-warning system for overcommitment, missed prep windows, or unresolved decisions.
**Inbox & Communication Management**: Own a reliable system for CEO inbox triage across internal and external stakeholders—S-team, Board members, investors, strategic partners, and customers. Manage priority communications, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks while reducing the CEO's open loops.
**Relationship & Stakeholder Management**: Strengthen high-value external relationships. Coordinate with Finance, BizOps, Legal, Procurement, People, R&D, GTM, and Communications teams. Manage travel, events, and occasional personal logistics that directly preserve CEO focus.
**Executive Support Community**: Contribute to Boulevard's Executive Support team's community of practice, focusing on calendar strategy, communication systems, meeting hygiene, travel planning, stakeholder management, and feedback loops that help scale the company's operating system.
The ideal candidate is deeply trusted, highly autonomous, and comfortable operating in the gray area between executive support, operations, relationship management, and strategic logistics. You should anticipate what's coming, keep systems running smoothly, and help the CEO focus on R&D, product, AI, Board relationships, and external industry moments.
