Parallel is a web infrastructure company that enables leading businesses in sales, marketing, insurance, and coding to build best-in-class AI agents with programmatic access to the web. The company has raised $230 million from top-tier VCs including Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, First Round, and Terrain, and is valued at $2 billion. As Executive Assistant to one of Parallel's founders, you will own the operating rhythm of their day—managing calendar, travel, and inbox as a strategic filter for their time and attention. You'll sit in high-stakes meetings, track follow-ups across sales, hiring, and product initiatives, and ensure all founder commitments are executed. Responsibilities include drafting communications, preparing board and investor materials, and representing the founder's priorities to the broader organization. As the company scales, you'll design and implement systems—meeting cadences, decision logs, follow-up tracking—that multiply the founder's operational leverage. You bring prior experience operating at an executive's right hand as an EA, chief of staff, or founder's associate. You understand the difference between calendar management and executive leverage. You anticipate problems before escalation, exercise sound judgment about priority and timing, write with clarity, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and require minimal direction to understand excellence. You want to be inside key decisions shaping an early-stage company, not peripheral to them. Parallel operates fully in-person from Palo Alto HQ and San Francisco offices. The team is flat and talent-dense, focused on solving technical and creative problems. The company values owning customer impact, obsessing over craft, accelerating change, creating win-wins, and making high-conviction bets.
