Flex is a growth-stage fintech company headquartered in NYC that is transforming rent payments by enabling users to pay throughout the month on flexible schedules. The company is expanding into new verticals and seeking an Events Marketing Manager to design and execute a comprehensive events strategy from the ground up. In this role, you will own the full events calendar for the New Verticals business, executing 2-3 anchor industry events and supporting 3-5 smaller sales team events per vertical annually. You'll work closely with the New Verticals revenue team, the VP of Partner Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to build a repeatable events playbook that generates pipeline, accelerates relationships, and builds brand awareness in new markets. Key responsibilities include: executing the complete event lifecycle from sponsorship negotiation and speaking opportunities through sales enablement, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up; enabling the sales team to maximize attendance at industry events by developing pre-event briefings, target account lists, and talking points; planning and executing 10-12 person executive dinners tied to key events; designing scalable events playbooks with templates, budget tracking, and measurement frameworks; defining target audience segments and decision-maker criteria for each event; partnering with revenue teams on target account lists and post-event follow-through; managing events budgets with precision and reporting on ROI; measuring event effectiveness through attendance, pipeline generation, and partner satisfaction metrics; evaluating third-party sponsorships and co-marketing opportunities; and coordinating with the broader Partner Marketing team on integrated campaigns. You bring 3-5 years of B2B event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation experience, with proven success producing both large industry conference presence and intimate executive events. You have hands-on budget management experience, can attribute event investment to pipeline and revenue outcomes, and are comfortable with Salesforce and HubSpot for campaign tracking and follow-up workflows. You have a builder's mindset, having stood up events programs at early-stage companies or within new functions. You excel at running high-touch executive events end-to-end and are eager to use AI thoughtfully in your work.
