As the first Event Marketing Manager for the German market, you will own Pennylane's event strategy and execution in Germany, reporting to the Head of Events and working closely with the General Manager Germany and local marketing team. This is a foundational role that will establish Pennylane as a key player in the German market through strategic event presence. Key responsibilities include: **Partner Event Management**: Select and manage Pennylane's participation in relevant industry events. Coordinate all logistics from booth design and setup to on-site operations and teardown. Manage vendor selection, team coordination, and flawless event execution. **Proprietary Event Development**: Identify market opportunities and design custom Pennylane events aligned with sales and marketing goals. Develop event concepts, manage budgets, select and brief vendors, and oversee all organizational details from conception through delivery. **Cross-functional Coordination**: Brief internal teams, ensure seamless collaboration across departments, and support logistics for branded merchandise, print materials, and event equipment. Coordinate ordering and production of event materials. **Brand Consistency**: Maintain current, on-brand event communications and materials. Oversee branded merchandise and materials in line with brand guidelines. Serve as guardian of Pennylane's brand presence across all event touchpoints. **Tracking & Reporting**: Monitor event budgets with transparency, maintain an updated event calendar, anticipate resource needs, and report regularly on results and learnings. You bring 3–5 years of event management experience, ideally in tech, SaaS, or B2B sectors. You excel at managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders, have strong organizational and communication skills, and understand how events drive business impact. You're proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced, autonomous environments.
