Avelios Medical is a fast-growing healthtech scale-up on a mission to unlock clinical data and power seamless healthcare operations. The company has built a modular software platform that digitizes and optimizes workflows in hospitals, enabling healthcare providers to deliver better patient care.
As Event Marketing Manager, you will drive Avelios' event strategy and execution to generate pipeline, build brand awareness, and establish trust among target audiences—hospitals, doctors, nurses, and decision-makers. Events are a critical touchpoint for the company, and you will own the full lifecycle of external conferences/fairs, internal events, and webinars.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing a comprehensive event marketing strategy aligned with pipeline generation and brand-building goals
- Independently planning and executing differentiated events that position Avelios as a credible, visible voice in healthcare tech, managing format selection, logistics, budgets, staffing, and on-site/virtual delivery
- Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective lead capture; representing the company on-site through presentations, demos, and networking
- Analyzing event performance using both quantitative metrics (leads, pipeline, ROI) and qualitative measures (visibility, brand perception, engagement), then optimizing strategy based on data-driven insights
You will work in an international, informal scale-up environment backed by leading VCs, SAP, and Fresenius, with direct visibility into company growth and success.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years of experience in a similar marketing role, ideally in healthtech, scale-up, or SaaS environments, with a proven track record of independently planning and executing impactful events
- Structured, organized, and reliable working style, capable of managing multiple events in parallel
- Creativity and strong sense for brand presence and experience, demonstrated through original event concepts and ideas
- Ability to interpret data and optimize event strategies based on data-driven insights
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders (internal and external partners)
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
