Instructure is seeking an Equity Administrator to manage the company's equity programs and stock plan administration. This role owns the day-to-day operations of equity grants, including preparing grant recommendations, routing awards for approval, and processing new grants, vesting, exercises, releases, and terminations. You'll maintain accurate participant, grant, and vesting records in the stock plan system (Shareworks) and serve as the primary point of contact for equity-related questions from employees, executives, and internal partners.
Key responsibilities include overseeing equity program controls and documentation to ensure awards comply with plan documents and approvals, configuring and maintaining the Shareworks platform for grants, vesting, and reporting, and producing equity reports for stakeholders including grant activity, vesting schedules, and participant-level detail. You'll also support the monthly and quarterly stock-based compensation accounting process, working closely with accounting leadership on expense schedules, reconciliations, workpapers, and audit/filing preparation.

You should have a working understanding of stock-based compensation accounting concepts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to reconcile data to supporting records. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you'll support employees across the organization and work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
