Salary: USD 160,000 - 210,000 / annual
Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer focused on State accounts to partner with territory account executives in expanding the company's footprint into Fortune 500 companies. The role combines technical expertise with sales enablement, requiring deep knowledge of Verkada's integrated physical security platform (video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management).
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter authority on the full Verkada product suite, articulating value-added benefits throughout the sales process
- Overcome technical objections and secure technical wins for Verkada with enterprise customers
- Present solutions to all customer levels, from C-suite executives to loss prevention managers and IT directors
- Act as a product technical evangelist, training and educating partners, customers, and internal employees on latest Verkada offerings
- Interface directly with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle to design deployments and provide technical assistance
- Support territory account representatives with technical expertise and customer engagement
- Travel extensively (>50% of time) for domestic and international customer and partner engagements

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer with proven track record working with Fortune 500 companies
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical or security field from an accredited university
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong networking background: HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP, and firewalls
- Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
Bonus Qualifications:
- Industry certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISCP, or CSP
- Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python, or other coding languages
- Startup experience
