Monzo is seeking an Enterprise Risk Analyst to join its Risk team and support strategic risk management across the organization. Reporting to the Strategic Risk Director, you will develop and maintain strategic risk oversight dashboards and processes that inform the Group Chief Risk Officer, Executive Committee, and Board.
Your primary responsibilities include translating macroeconomic trends (interest rates, inflation, geopolitical events, regulatory shifts) into quantitative and qualitative assessments of Monzo's strategic risk profile. You will build dashboards from scratch using internal business data and external macroeconomic sources, produce monthly strategic risk oversight reports for senior leadership, and conduct thematic deep-dives on complex market developments.
You will own data quality across strategic risk reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency in risk data and formulas. You'll also support the implementation and ongoing operation of Monzo's risk frameworks and Group Risk processes, including improving framework documentation, delivering training, and running cross-risk projects.
This role sits at the intersection of macroeconomic analysis, strategic risk management, and executive decision-making. You'll work cross-functionally across Monzo to ensure insights are delivered clearly and on time for risk governance. The role offers high visibility and the opportunity to shape how Monzo manages strategic risk as it scales its global group structure.
