Scale is hiring an Enterprise Deal Desk & Pricing Analyst to own day-to-day deal pricing execution for enterprise customers. This role sits at the intersection of finance, sales operations, and commercial strategy, managing pricing calculations, deal structuring, and cross-functional coordination to accelerate deal cycles and maximize margin.
Key responsibilities include:
**Deal Pricing Execution**: Manage daily pricing calculations for enterprise deals, including ROI modeling and staffing inputs. Apply consistent pricing frameworks across land, expansion, and framework deals. Partner with the Deal Desk Manager to design customer-specific structures for non-standard or complex deals.
**Pricing & Deal Status Reporting**: Build and maintain dashboards tracking deal status, pricing, margin, and deal health across the enterprise pipeline. Provide leadership with current trend reporting on deal progression and pricing performance against targets.
**Process Optimization**: Identify bottlenecks in deal review and approval workflows. Standardize and streamline recurring pricing and approval steps into repeatable, lower-friction processes. Track approval cycle time and surface trends to inform improvements.
**Cross-Functional Deal Coordination**: Own deal crafting end-to-end from initial pricing through contract review, coordinating with sales management, reps, accounting, finance, EPD, and legal. Route deal packages to correct reviewers and track open items to prevent stalls.
**Strategic & GTM Support**: Answer ambiguous questions around go-to-market motion and iterate quickly on solutions. Support sales and finance leadership in quarterly strategy, forecasting, and P&L analysis. Help scope and execute initiatives around pricing strategy, deal modeling, proposal creation, and value engineering.
You'll need 3+ years in finance, deal desk, sales operations, management consulting, or high-growth startup experience. Strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to drive outcomes across functions are essential. Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Suite, and MS Office required; Tableau and SQL are nice-to-haves.
