Dandy is transforming the dental industry—a $400B+ market—by building an operating system for dental practices worldwide. The company is backed by leading venture capital firms and is on a mission to modernize every function of dental practices through technology. In this Enterprise Business Development Representative role, you will be part of Dandy's growing NYC-area BDR team, focusing on outbound prospecting to larger dental organizations and strategic accounts. You'll identify opportunities within Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) and multi-location dental groups, conduct targeted research, and generate qualified meetings for the sales team. Key responsibilities include: - Serving as the initial point of contact through outbound outreach to prospective dental organizations and multi-location practices - Researching target accounts to identify potential opportunities and relevant stakeholders - Utilizing email, phone, LinkedIn, Apollo, and other creative channels for outbound prospecting - Developing thoughtful, tailored outreach strategies for specific accounts and decision-makers - Tracking sales activity in Salesforce and other sales software tools - Overcoming objections and communicating Dandy's value proposition to move prospects forward - Partnering closely with Account Executives to support outreach within larger organizations - Meeting key pipeline generation and activity targets alongside sales leadership The BDR team operates in a hybrid environment: in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote on Mondays and Fridays. This is a fast-paced role with strong earning potential and clear career growth opportunities within a scaling go-to-market organization. REQUIREMENTS: - 1+ years of professional sales experience in a high-growth environment - Experience with outbound prospecting or cold calling - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to research organizations and identify relevant decision makers - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment - Commitment to continuous improvement and desire to learn new sales concepts - Ability to navigate ambiguity and ramp up quickly - Experience with standard sales tools and willingness to explore and implement new tools - Overall track record of professional and academic success BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience with enterprise or account-based prospecting - Exposure to multi-location businesses or healthcare organizations - Outstanding professional references - Experience with marketplace models - Comfort in blitz growth environments - Relentlessly positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and ability to have fun at work
