MaintainX, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, is a mobile-first work execution platform used by 13,000+ customers including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL, and Volvo to reduce unplanned downtime and optimize operations across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.
As an Enterprise Business Development Representative, you will own a specific geographic territory and drive pipeline into large, strategic accounts. You will work within a structured pod model alongside Regional Directors and Account Directors, focusing on quality pipeline development rather than volume.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own Enterprise territory coverage, balancing broad prospecting with deeper focus on strategic accounts selected in partnership with Account Directors
- Participate in bi-weekly 1:1s with Account Directors to align on priority accounts, intent signals, and outbound strategy
- Prospect using multi-channel approach (phone, email, LinkedIn) with emphasis on quality pipeline
- Engage Director and VP-level stakeholders in Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, and IT to surface operational challenges and align to MaintainX's value proposition
- Expand buying group coverage within accounts and support multi-threaded discovery before opportunity creation
At 6 months, success means a clean, well-sourced Enterprise pipeline with verifiable KPIs and strong Account Director alignment. At 12 months, top performers are positioned for transition to closing roles.
The company invests heavily in people through New Hire University, dedicated mentorship, and structured sales training from day one. Most current Account Executives and Account Managers were promoted from BDR roles, typically within 1-1.5 years. Enterprise pipeline is a major growth lever for MaintainX in 2026.
MaintainX's mission is to keep the physical world running—factories, fleets, hospitals, and campuses stay operational because maintenance teams have tools worth using.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ year of BDR experience; Enterprise exposure is a strong asset
- Comfort engaging Director-level and above stakeholders in complex, multi-threaded accounts
- Strong judgment on when to go deep on strategic accounts versus when to prospect broadly
- Collaborative mindset; view AE and AD partnership as a multiplier
- Demonstrated follow-through; own pipeline and numbers without prompting
- Bachelor's degree required
- Nice to have: experience with Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, or Nooks; prior B2B or SaaS sales experience
