Okta is seeking an Enterprise Architect for Finance & Legal Systems to define and deliver technology architecture strategy across Finance and Legal functions. This role combines deep technical expertise with innovative thinking to modernize core enterprise systems including NetSuite/Oracle (ERP), Conga, Anaplan, and Xactly.
Key responsibilities include:
**Enterprise Solution Architecture:** Define target-state architecture for Finance and Legal applications aligned with enterprise strategy. Lead design and implementation of end-to-end architectural solutions ensuring integration, scalability, and performance. Develop multi-year modernization roadmaps across ERP, FP&A, Legal, and Sales Compensation systems. Ensure identity-first security principles with Okta and IAM integration.
**AI and ML Solution Design:** Architect and implement AI/ML-driven solutions to optimize finance and legal processes—predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, spend optimization, contract risk scoring, and intelligent reconciliation. Partner with Enterprise AI team to operationalize models within G&A functions. Demonstrate working knowledge of LLMs (Gemini, OpenAI, Claude).
**System Integration and Data Strategy:** Ensure seamless data flow across ERP, Coupa, Scout, Anaplan, Conga, and Xactly using APIs and middleware (Boomi). Define unified data models supporting analytics and AI consumption.
**Innovation Leadership:** Identify opportunities to embed generative AI, NLP, and LLM capabilities into Finance and Legal processes including financial reporting, close management, reconciliation, contract lifecycle management, and legal document automation. Lead hands-on POCs and AI-driven automations.
**Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, Data, Compliance, Security, and Engineering teams. Translate business objectives into scalable, secure solutions. Serve as trusted advisor on Finance and Legal technology trends. Influence executives on solution architecture and technology adoption.
**Implementation & Governance:** Support and lead implementations/enhancements of ERP systems and legal technology platforms.
