Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, is seeking an Enterprise Architect Director to lead and grow a team of Enterprise Architects supporting the sales organization and largest customer accounts.
In this high-impact leadership role, you will combine deep technical expertise with executive presence to drive revenue impact and customer success. You will manage a team of Enterprise Architects responsible for defining architecture, data, and cloud strategy for major clients, while acting as an executive sponsor in pre-sales and post-sales phases, presenting strategic visions directly to customer C-level executives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring, mentoring, and managing a team of Enterprise Architects
- Serving as executive sponsor for customer engagements, presenting to C-level executives and engaging with customer architecture and security teams
- Guiding your team to design architectures that drive enterprise modernization, leveraging capability mapping and emerging technologies like Agentic AI
- Acting as a leadership bridge between Celonis product and engineering teams and customer teams to ensure premier technical service delivery
- Overseeing assessment of customer IT landscape maturity and coaching account teams and ecosystem partners on architecture, integration, performance, and scalability
- Directing development of reusable assets, customer-facing position papers, and thought leadership presentations on architecture and innovation
You bring 20+ years of relevant experience, including a proven track record managing Enterprise Architects or technical teams at top consulting firms or software vendors. You possess strategic vision, excellent communication skills, and deep expertise in enterprise architecture, capability mapping, enterprise modernization, and Agentic AI. Your technical foundation spans data architecture, system integrations, data operations, automation, and data-related languages (SQL, Python). You understand cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions (Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics CRM, ServiceNow), cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy enterprise architectures.
You hold an MSc in Computer Science or equivalent IT-related degree and are fluent in English; additional language proficiency (Spanish, French, German, Italian) is advantageous. Preferred qualifications include Celonis certifications, industry standard certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP, ESB/ETL tools, TOGAF/Zachman), and experience across multiple domains and industries.
