Salary: USD 162,500 - 325,000 / annual
Chainguard is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales expansion within large organizations. You will own the complete enterprise sales cycle—from pipeline development through deal closure—working with Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders like OpenAI, Snap Inc., and Snowflake.
In this role, you'll manage a defined set of enterprise accounts, leading discovery and qualification using proven frameworks such as MEDDPICC. You'll communicate Chainguard's software supply-chain security and trusted container image solutions to technical stakeholders, security leaders, and C-suite executives. You'll partner closely with Sales Engineering and Customer Engineering teams to support technical evaluations and validate customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a healthy pipeline, managing complex enterprise sales cycles (including procurement, security reviews, and negotiations), maintaining accurate forecasting, and consistently meeting revenue targets. You'll navigate multi-stakeholder buying environments and identify customer pain points to sell measurable business value.
The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of experience selling complex technical products into enterprise organizations, with a proven track record of pipeline development and revenue closure. You're disciplined in your sales process, comfortable with enterprise buying complexity, and skilled at relationship-building and negotiation. You thrive in fast-growing environments with evolving processes and can operate independently while collaborating across teams.
Compensation: $325K OTE (50/50 base/commission). Chainguard offers remote-first flexibility with team summits, equity (stock options with 10-year exercise window), 100% covered health insurance, and unlimited PTO.
