Telnyx is a profitable, industry-leading connectivity platform that owns its own private global IP network, carrier interconnects, and voice, messaging, wireless, and inference stack. Unlike competitors who resell third-party infrastructure, Telnyx's ownership of the entire stack enables superior latency and uptime—critical differentiators for enterprise customers. You will join as an Enterprise Account Executive covering the US Central region, owning a named list of 30–40 accounts with a focus on approximately 10 Tier 1 accounts, each representing $1M+ in annual potential. You will work in a dedicated pod alongside a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), operating as a true full-cycle team from initial executive relationship through production deployment. This is not a remote overlay; you and your FDE own the territory end-to-end, with no handoffs or silos. Your core responsibilities include: • Develop a workload thesis for each Tier 1 account: identify the specific production outcome (e.g., AI contact center, SOC/NOC agent, global communications, connected mobility, enterprise inference), map stakeholders and budget owners, quantify value, and define win conditions. • Build and maintain executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and line-of-business owners who control budgets. • Run the full sales cycle alongside your FDE: prospecting, qualification, commercial architecture design, negotiation, and close. Lead with customer outcomes, not product SKUs. • Establish commercial terms before any custom work or free discovery begins. Enforce proof-of-concept discipline: named executive sponsor, written success criteria, production pricing agreed in advance, a decision date, and a signed commercial document. • Expand accounts systematically—convert single workloads into multiple deployments and grow customer value from $500K to $2M+. • Maintain forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene with no surprises. • Travel across US Central to meet customers in person. You will compete against established players like Twilio and Vonage, selling complex infrastructure and AI/ML platforms to Fortune 500 and large enterprises. Success requires both consultative selling depth (building ROI cases for CFOs and technical cases for engineering leaders) and disciplined sales methodology and tooling. **Requirements:** • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service), UCaaS (Unified Communications), CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service), telecom, or AI/ML platforms. • Consistent overachievement against seven-figure quotas, with individual deals exceeding $1M. • Credibility with both executive and technical buyers; comfort in boardrooms and architecture reviews. • Hunter mentality with ability to build and own your own pipeline. • Consultative selling capability: can build ROI cases for CFOs and technical cases for VPs of Engineering. • Proficiency with sales methodology (MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN) and sales stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong listening ability. • Willingness to travel across US Central. **Bonus qualifications:** • Fortune 500 or large-enterprise new-logo experience in US Central markets. • Experience with complex sales cycles involving RFPs, competitive bake-offs, procurement, security, and legal review. • Working knowledge of SIP trunking, number provisioning, carrier networks, or AI/ML infrastructure. • Established relationships in US Central enterprise ecosystem (energy: ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Halliburton; logistics: American Airlines, Southwest, FedEx, UPS; healthcare: HCA Healthcare, Baylor Scott & White, Tenet; financial services: USAA, Charles Schwab; or presence in Houston, Austin, Chicago, Denver markets).
