Pogo is hiring its first Enterprise Account Executives to scale the B2B enterprise business from $XM to $XXM ARR. This is a full-cycle sales role where you will own the complete customer journey from prospecting through expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
**Lead Generation & Engagement:** Build relationships with prospects through outbound email, calls, conferences, and dinners. Manage inbound and referral leads to keep pipeline moving.
**Qualification & Closing:** Lead discovery calls, demos, and follow-up conversations to understand prospect needs. Build ROI cases and negotiate contracts to close new business.
**Trials & POCs:** Own the trial experience end-to-end, coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and accelerate path to close.
**Renewals & Expansion:** Own the renewal cycle for your accounts and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Build deep relationships with existing clients to grow revenue within the base.
**Sales Playbook Development:** Help build and improve the sales playbook as the company scales. Contribute structured learnings and iterate on what works.
**Cross-team Collaboration:** Work closely with GTM, Engineering, and Product to ensure new clients succeed from day one. Partner with founders on strategic deals.
Travel required: 3-5 days per month.
**Why this role is compelling:** You'll help build the GTM motion from the ground up and define how Pogo sells. The product has strong inbound interest from major consumer brands. You'll work directly with founders and the product team, influencing strategy, pricing, positioning, and roadmap. Fast feedback loops mean you can test messaging and refine outreach in days, not quarters. As an early team member, you'll shape company culture and playbooks for future hires.
**What to expect:** This is an early-stage role with limited structure. You'll need to thrive in ambiguity, navigate new buyer personas, and solve problems without obvious answers. You'll wear multiple hats—prospecting, positioning refinement, onboarding, and product feedback. More than 9-to-5 effort is expected at this stage, though the company offers flexible scheduling, unlimited PTO, and a minimum 20-day vacation policy.
**Requirements:**
- 3-10 years of sales experience, including enterprise end-to-end sales
- Hunter mentality: energized by building pipeline from scratch
- Strong communicator who builds credibility quickly with senior stakeholders
- Ability to translate product demos into compelling business cases
- Hands-on, resourceful, and willing to do whatever it takes to close deals
- Ownership mindset: know your number and always work the problem
- Fast learner who picks up new products, industries, and buyer personas quickly
- Proficiency with AI tools for research, outreach, and preparation
- Bonus: ability to tell stories with data; experience selling insights or data analytics products
