Gradient Labs is building an AI customer operations platform purpose-built for financial services. Founded in 2023, the company works with major banking and fintech players, deploying specialist AI agents to eliminate manual work in customer support and back-office operations. The team includes builders from Monzo, Wise, Google, and Revolut.
As Enterprise Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for complex enterprise deals in financial services. You'll generate your own pipeline through cold outbound, industry events, and creative engagement. Your responsibilities include running thoughtful discovery, diagnosing and tailoring solutions across complex organizations, and leading with the AI support platform while bringing back-office capabilities into conversations at the right moment.
You'll partner closely with the AI Delivery team throughout the sales cycle, ensuring smooth handoffs and ongoing customer success. You'll build relationships with C-suite and senior operations/product leaders at forward-thinking financial services firms, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on customer operations in regulated environments.
You'll co-build the sales process, qualification framework, and account strategy with the Head of GTM and broader team. As a product evangelist, you'll deliver live demos, create tailored presentations, and develop a clear point of view on AI customer operations. Your market insights flow directly back to product and engineering teams.
The role offers significant autonomy and entrepreneurial opportunity—you're early enough to shape how the company sells rather than inherit an established playbook. You'll work in a fast-moving environment where experimentation, hypothesis testing, and iteration are valued over rigid processes.
Benefits include private medical and dental insurance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (or 32 days with bank holiday opt-out), team socials and offsites, and flexible working with a hybrid approach (office in central London, ideally in-office at least once per week).
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–7+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience, including complex end-to-end deals at six- and seven-figure ACV
- Proven track record of building your own pipeline and creative prospecting (cold outbound, events, direct engagement)
- Entrepreneurial, high-agency mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
- Experience building C-suite relationships and running consultative, value-based sales motions
- Technical aptitude and ability to hold your own discussing AI agents with CTOs; capacity to evangelize sophisticated AI products
- Strong organizational skills to manage rigorous sales processes, multiple stakeholders, and clear communication
- Excitement about using AI in your own sales motion and comfort with rapid change in the AI space
- Bonus: prior experience selling AI products, into financial services/fintech, or in regulated environments
