Gaiia is building an operating system for Communications Service Providers (CSPs) that manages billing, operations, automation, and network management. We're seeking an Engineering Lead for our Network squad to join a team of 4 full-stack developers, a product manager, and a product designer.
You will split your time 50/50 between hands-on full-stack development and leadership responsibilities including technical design, code reviews, and people management. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you'll own the Network squad's mission: monitoring customer networks, responding to incidents, provisioning new capacity, and maintaining accurate inventory as operators scale.
The Network squad builds plug-and-play network monitoring and provisioning features by integrating with third-party tools (OLT, CPE vendors, open-access operators). You'll also build incident management modules that translate network alerts into clear customer impact and subscriber notifications, and model physical network topology and coverage areas.
Technically, you'll work in a serverless microservices ecosystem on AWS, with the entire stack (frontend, backend, infrastructure-as-code) built in TypeScript. Your squad sits at the boundary between Gaiia and a long tail of network vendors, so integration quality directly shapes how much of a customer's operation can run on our platform.
Gaiia offers competitive compensation, stock options, full transparency, and a 100% remote environment. We're passionate about supporting our people so you can focus on your work.
