Tempo is a leading work management platform trusted by over 30,000 customers, including a third of Fortune 500 companies. The company provides integrated solutions for time management, resource planning, budget management, roadmapping, and program management, primarily as add-ons to Jira and within the Atlassian ecosystem. As an Endpoint and Device Specialist, you will own the complete lifecycle and security posture of Tempo's global, remote-first device fleet. Reporting to the Director of Corporate IT & Information Security, you will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, and retiring devices across macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile platforms. You will administer Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) tooling to enforce security baselines, patching, encryption, and compliance policies across the distributed workforce. Key responsibilities include administering Okta SSO for single sign-on and access management, delivering endpoint support through Jira Service Management with a focus on automation and self-service, and leading device onboarding and offboarding processes. You will enforce endpoint security controls including EDR, disk encryption, patch compliance, and configuration hardening, while maintaining accurate device inventory and asset management. You will partner closely with the Information Security team on audits and access reviews, applying AI-assisted tooling and automation to scale endpoint operations without proportional headcount growth. The role emphasizes documentation, runbooks, and self-service resources to ensure consistency and maintainability as the company scales. Required qualifications include 3+ years in endpoint management or IT operations, hands-on experience with UEM platforms (Jamf, Kandji, Microsoft Intune), solid endpoint security knowledge, and demonstrated experience in remote-first SaaS environments. You must be based in North America with availability during Eastern or Central time zone core hours. Experience with Okta, Jira Service Management, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python), and AI-assisted tools is essential. Strong troubleshooting, systems thinking, communication skills, and a bias toward automation are critical.
