This Employee Relations Specialist role is based in Gurugram, India, and serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) for investigating workplace situations, grievances, conflicts, and employee issues across Cvent India.
Key responsibilities include end-to-end redressal of employee complaints with timely closure and accurate record-keeping in HR systems. You will collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) including Legal to ensure fair, unbiased investigations aligned with Indian labor laws and regulations. The role involves managing employee discipline issues related to handbook violations, leading the Cvent India Workplace Harassment Committee, and monitoring/analyzing employee relations trends to develop mitigation strategies.
Additional duties include assisting in drafting, designing, and interpreting HR policies, processes, and programs that support company goals, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with existing labor laws.
Required qualifications: 7+ years of experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or similar role; demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and regulations; proven problem-solving, conflict resolution, and mediation skills; excellent decision-making and organizational abilities; strong ability to handle confidential information; outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; and professional certification as an Employee Relations Specialist.
