WorkOS is a $2B Series C-funded developer platform that provides enterprise-ready authentication, SSO, and directory sync solutions. The company powers infrastructure for leading AI companies including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity.
You will lead the Employee Programs function, owning new hire onboarding end-to-end and designing programs that accelerate productivity and cultural integration. This is a hands-on role combining strategic program design with direct facilitation and execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and execute comprehensive new hire onboarding curriculum covering role ramp-up, cross-functional context, company roadmap, and decision-making processes. Facilitate in-person programming at the SF office and support distributed team onsites twice annually.
- Build and run a structured new manager training program covering core management competencies and company-specific management practices.
- Develop personal growth and upskilling programs by identifying capability gaps, sourcing or building training content, and tracking progress in partnership with managers and leadership.
- Measure onboarding effectiveness through time-to-productivity metrics, ramp feedback, and manager input. Iterate programs based on data each cohort.
- Collaborate with operations on company-wide offsite programming and content.
- Facilitate large-group sessions confidently, running onboarding cohorts, manager training, and team onsites for mixed-seniority audiences.
- Build lightweight internal tools using AI-forward, no-code platforms to automate ramp tracking and content distribution, reducing manual work.
You bring 5+ years of experience in internal events, employee experience, learning & development, or people programs at high-growth startups. You are an exceptional communicator with strong public speaking and facilitation skills. You have experience designing new manager or leadership training programs, strong operational and project management instincts, and a systems-thinking approach to continuous program improvement. You care deeply about creating memorable employee experiences.
