The Employee Experience Specialist will own the end-to-end new hire onboarding experience, including orientation scheduling, welcome materials coordination, and handoffs with IT and Facilities to ensure every new employee has a consistent, welcoming first day. The role supports the People Programs team in delivering key initiatives such as performance cycles, engagement surveys, Notable University (internal training), and company-wide events.
Key responsibilities include becoming the systems owner for Notable's HRIS (Rippling) and related People Team systems (Confirm, Complete, Sparrow), serving as the go-to point of contact for employee questions about onboarding and lifecycle events, and collaborating with the workplace team to create an engaging office environment.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in employee experience, HR operations, event planning, or workplace coordination. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple timelines while maintaining accuracy. You communicate clearly, bring strong service orientation to interactions, and take ownership of tasks from conception through completion—including the logistical work that makes programs run smoothly. Experience coordinating onboarding programs, building office culture, or working with HRIS tools is a plus.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on details and wants to see direct impact on how employees experience the company. Bay Area–based employees are expected to work in the San Mateo office at least three days per week. Remote employees should expect occasional travel to headquarters for company-wide events.
