Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced AI, autonomy, and sensor fusion, is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join the Emerging Talent Recruiting team in Costa Mesa, California. This role supports Hardware and Software teams and operates as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, with significant autonomy to shape long-term recruiting strategy.
You will serve as a trusted talent advisor for complex hiring across emerging talent programs, particularly in hardware domains. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing recruiting strategies using prospecting techniques and automation to improve candidate management; collaborating with emerging talent coordinators, program managers, hiring managers, and senior leadership to guide recruitment strategy and drive high-impact hiring projects; leveraging deep understanding of university recruiting trends; executing university recruiting trips and events; owning pipeline direction with metrics-based measurement including sourcing outreach, candidate data, and offer/close rates; and managing hiring execution across multiple teams while communicating objectives and priorities.
The role requires 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in university recruiting and tech sectors. You must demonstrate leadership in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of influencing organizational best practices. Ability to travel for university recruiting events is essential. Preferred qualifications include startup and tech experience, particularly in hardware domains; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; solution-oriented problem-solving; deep knowledge of recruitment technology and process innovation; and a continuous learning mindset with low ego and high curiosity.
