CesiumAstro is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join the spacecraft team. In this role, you will own PCB-level implementation and board-level hardware design, translating spacecraft requirements into robust, reliable designs that support mission objectives. You will drive the full development lifecycle from design through production, including subsystem definition, integration, and troubleshooting across the spacecraft lifecycle.
You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment alongside experienced hardware, software, FPGA, thermal, and mechanical engineers. The role emphasizes hands-on, autonomous work with strong mentorship and rapid technical growth. You will contribute to communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
This is an individual contributor role focused on technical excellence and learning from senior engineers across multiple disciplines. You will be expected to grow quickly and take increasing ownership of hardware subsystems and design decisions.
