Belvedere Trading, a leading proprietary trading firm headquartered in downtown Chicago, is seeking an Early Career Talent Partner to own hiring for the Trading Department. This role focuses on building and maintaining a pipeline of quantitative traders and trading-adjacent talent, with emphasis on interns, recent graduates, and early-career professionals.
You will execute the early career recruitment strategy for Trading, representing Belvedere at collegiate trading competitions, poker tournaments, and industry networking events as primary sourcing and brand-building channels. You'll foster relationships with campus trading groups, investment clubs, and quant/finance student organizations, positioning Belvedere as a destination employer within those communities.
Key responsibilities include building pipelines with academic programs in financial mathematics, financial engineering, quantitative research, applied math, and statistics—including faculty, program directors, and alumni relationships. You'll manage full-cycle campus recruiting from initial application through Super Day and offer stage, partnering with People Operations on engagement and onboarding, including candidates with extended non-compete periods.
You will partner with Trading hiring managers to understand evolving skill and market needs (quantitative reasoning, probability, market intuition) and translate them into sourcing strategy and candidate evaluation criteria. You'll represent Belvedere during campus visits and virtual open houses, presenting internship programs and early trading talent development paths.
Additionally, you'll analyze engagement efforts to understand return on strategic partnerships and success of new initiatives, provide high-touch candidate and hiring manager experience by articulating core values to a quantitative, trading-focused pool, and evaluate recruiting results to identify areas for process improvement, systematization, and automation.
The role requires occasional travel for off-site events, conferences, or job fairs, with occasional nights and weekends work.

- Experience coordinating and participating in both in-person and virtual recruiting events/activities
- Comfortable working with and presenting recruitment data, market data, reporting, and analytics
