Performativ is seeking a Domain Expert & Product Owner to shape and own its wealth management platform and underlying data layer. This role sits at the intersection of financial-domain expertise, product management, and technology. You will be responsible for setting product direction based on client needs, market understanding, and business goals. You'll translate complex financial workflows into clear, reusable product capabilities that solve real problems without compromising platform coherence. Work spans portfolio management, reporting, trading, compliance, client engagement, and data integration. Key responsibilities include: - Shape product direction and own the roadmap for the Wealth Management Suite - Translate complex financial and operational workflows into clear product solutions - Work closely with Product, Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, and engineers to shape features before and during implementation - Create workflows, prototypes, product logic, and concrete examples that align teams - Write clear specifications that engineering can build from without repeated interpretation - Join client meetings and technical discovery sessions, translating insights into sound product decisions - Act as internal domain expert supporting customer-facing teams on specialist product and financial knowledge - Identify gaps and inconsistencies across the platform to improve overall coherence - Make clear decisions on what to commit to, decline, and why - Balance speed, cost, performance, and long-term architectural integrity with engineering - Follow features into production, measure adoption and outcomes, and assess what worked You'll need substantial experience in asset management, wealth management, private banking, or closely related financial domains—ideally from middle-office, portfolio-management, investment-operations, advice, or trading environments. Strong understanding of financial products, their mathematical concepts, and operational consequences is essential. You should have a track record of owning meaningful product or process areas (not merely coordinating tasks), understanding how portfolio data moves through financial institutions, and identifying operational or data-quality problems. Comfort working directly with engineers discussing APIs, data models, system integrations, and technical trade-offs is required. You'll need strong product judgment and confidence to challenge customers, executives, and engineers when necessary. Ability to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with clear and precise writing skills. Willingness to travel across Europe for client work is expected. The role is based in Copenhagen; relocation support is available for the right candidate.
