Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a Director of Value Engineering for the Financial Services vertical in North America, you will lead a strategic practice bridging go-to-market strategy, product roadmap, and customer value realization for the world's largest banks, insurers, and asset managers. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of Industry Executives, Technical Principals, and Value Engineers to drive end-to-end customer value journeys. Your responsibilities span three core areas: Identify & Frame Strategic Value: Partner with C-level executives (COO, CIO, heads of business lines) to translate institutional strategy—such as T+1 settlement readiness, regulatory compliance, or claims modernization—into specific Celonis capabilities. Bridge technical innovation with operational reality, designing solutions that solve critical business problems while wrapping proposals in robust ROI models. Collaborate with FSI Sales Leadership to qualify strategic engagements and allocate resources to maximize ARR growth. Realize Value Through Program Execution: Orchestrate complex transformation programs linking siloed divisions across value chains such as trade lifecycle (front-to-back), client onboarding (KYC/AML), and insurance claims (triage/settlement). Leverage deep domain expertise to tackle implementation challenges in complex environments, defining standards for straight-through processing, exception management, and legacy-to-cloud interactions. Serve as executive sponsor for the customer portfolio, facilitating steering committees and ensuring programs hit strategic milestones. Scale Value & Lead Talent: Codify FSI best practices into reusable assets and industry-specific playbooks. Act as the senior voice of the customer to Product & Engineering, advocating for development needs around data lineage, security, and regulatory reporting. Manage and mentor a diverse team including Client Value Partners and Value Engineering leaders, developing talent across distinct tracks and effectively allocating resources across the North American portfolio. You bring 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5+ years in a people-management role, ideally within management consulting, professional services, or enterprise software. You have deep expertise in financial services (banking, insurance, or capital markets), proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder transformations, and a track record of translating business strategy into measurable P&L impact.
