Zūm is seeking an experienced Director of Treasury to lead financing, debt management, and treasury operations for a high-growth mobility platform serving the $50B student transportation market. Reporting to the VP Treasurer, you will manage cash forecasting, liquidity optimization, debt portfolio management, and banking relationships while ensuring strong controls and compliance. Key responsibilities include: (1) Cash Flow & Liquidity Management—oversee cash forecasting, interest/expense forecasting, and debt operations; partner with FP&A and Accounting to improve forecast accuracy and deliver insights to leadership; manage banking relationships, coordinate credit lines and covenants, and own treasury month/quarter-end close activities. (2) Capital Markets & Allocation—manage the debt-equity portfolio in line with financing strategy; develop financial models to evaluate capital allocation scenarios (buybacks, debt repayment, M&A, R&D investment); provide strategic reporting on market trends and peer benchmarks to inform capital structure decisions. (3) Compliance & Reporting—ensure adherence to all debt covenants and loan agreement requirements; monitor for covenant breaches; develop and maintain treasury policies and procedures; support public company readiness by strengthening governance, controls, and SOX/SEC compliance; drive process improvements using automation and treasury management systems; manage corporate insurance renewals and broker relationships; develop real-time dashboards and reporting tools; collaborate across Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Operations. You will be a key strategic advisor on capital planning, debt management, and financial risk mitigation, partnering closely with executive leadership, operations, and external financial partners to support financial resilience and long-term growth. Required: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; 10+ years of progressive treasury, cash management, or corporate finance experience; strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and treasury systems (TMS, NetSuite, Zip); demonstrated ability to manage banking relationships and coordinate agreements; understanding of financial risk management; strong analytical and communication skills. CTP or MBA preferred.
