Apollo.io is a leading go-to-market platform trusted by over 500,000 companies globally, providing sales and marketing teams with verified B2B contact data and engagement tools. Founded in 2015, Apollo has raised ~$250M and is valued at $1.6B, backed by top-tier investors including Sequoia Capital and Bain Capital Ventures.
As Director of Technology Alliances, you will own 360-degree responsibility for Apollo's most strategic technology partnerships—the commercial and relationship layer that transforms technical integrations into real go-to-market motions. You'll manage the full lifecycle of these alliances, from joint business planning to field execution.
Key responsibilities include:
**Alliance Ownership & Strategy**: Take full ownership of a select portfolio of graduated technology alliances. Build and maintain joint business plans with each partner, serve as the single point of accountability for relationship health and growth, and work with Product Partnerships to determine which integrations are ready to graduate into full alliances.
**Field-Level Co-Selling**: Drive actual co-selling between Apollo's sales organization and partner sales teams. Broker rep-to-rep introductions, build field enablement that makes collaboration seamless, and own partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue as a core, measurable outcome.
**Co-Marketing Programs**: Design and execute joint go-to-market programs spanning demand generation, field events, and content. Partner with Apollo's marketing team to create programs that generate real pipeline, not just brand association.
**Cross-Functional Alignment**: Serve as connective tissue between Partnerships, Product, Marketing, and Sales. Drive alignment across all organizational levels—from executive sponsors to field teams—on alliance priorities and goals.
**Team Building & Leadership**: Start as an individual contributor managing a focused alliance portfolio. As the technology alliance ecosystem scales and revenue contribution grows, hire, coach, and lead a team of Technology Partner Managers. Design ownership structures and build operating rhythms (QBRs, planning cadence, reporting).
This role offers the opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, combining strategic partnership development with hands-on revenue generation and team leadership.
