Tenstorrent is a high-performance AI computing company building cutting-edge RISC-V CPU and AI platform technology. The company is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Management to build and lead the operating infrastructure required to bring products to market, scale them globally, and support them throughout their lifecycle. This is a builder role within the Supply Chain organization, reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations & Strategic Partnerships. You will own supply chain deliverables covering cross-functional go-to-market and customer engagement, including driving product certifications and market readiness, enhancing RMA and customer satisfaction processes, and driving the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The role has high exposure to CEO-level decisions and engagement. Key responsibilities include: - Drive cross-functional processes and own supply chain deliverables for global product certification and market readiness, including certification roadmaps, readiness gates, coordination with engineering, product, legal, manufacturing partners, test labs, and regulatory bodies. - Own and mature the company's S&OP process by connecting customer demand, sales forecasts, supply, manufacturing capacity, inventory, and financial objectives into a disciplined operating cadence for executive decision-making. - Build and own the end-to-end global RMA and customer operations model, covering intake, triage, replacement, repair, warranty management, disposition, customer communication, service levels, and performance metrics. - Establish processes, systems, KPIs, dashboards, governance, and operating mechanisms required to scale, including measures for forecast accuracy, supply performance, inventory health, backlog, certification readiness, and RMA performance. - Lead cross-functional execution with sales, product, engineering, quality, finance, manufacturing, test labs, regulatory bodies, and customer teams. Establish clear decision rights, simplify workflows, and drive shared decisions through to completion. You will gain broad exposure to the full operating model of a rapidly growing hardware and semiconductor business, build expertise in integrating supply chain-owned certification, S&OP, RMA, and customer operations, and develop leadership mechanisms to turn cross-functional complexity into clear ownership and measurable execution. The role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON; Austin, TX; or Santa Clara, CA. Qualifications: - Demonstrated leadership experience required; this role has high exposure to CEO-level decisions and engagement. - A builder comfortable entering environments where processes and ownership are not fully defined, turning ambiguity into a clear operating model and executable plan. - Experienced hardware and supply chain operator who understands how engineering, product, sales, manufacturing, quality, finance, legal, and customer teams connect across the product lifecycle. - Cross-functional leader who can align senior stakeholders, establish decision rights, and drive accountability without waiting for someone else to define ownership. - Data-driven and analytically rigorous decision-maker who can make sound judgments with incomplete information and maintain urgency through execution. - People leader who develops strong teams, builds subject matter expertise, and creates a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
