Reporting to the VP of B2B Marketing, you will own the complete events strategy and portfolio, deciding where to invest, what to discontinue, and how events drive demand, deepen customer relationships, open executive doors, strengthen brand positioning, and advance priority accounts. You'll lead a team of two event marketers and collaborate closely with sales, customer success, revenue operations, and marketing leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategy & Portfolio Management**: Build the annual events strategy aligned with company and revenue priorities. Determine investment levels across major industry sponsorships, executive experiences, regional and account-based programs, Tidal (the annual customer/prospect event), Revenue Kickoff, and President's Club. Own the portfolio budget and make strategic trade-offs.
**Flagship Events Leadership**: Own strategy and execution of Tidal, shaping audience, content, speaker strategy, programming, and commercial goals. Lead revenue kickoff, president's club, and other high-profile company experiences. Build processes and standards ensuring consistent quality across the portfolio.
**Executive & Account-Based Events**: Create experiences valuable to senior buyers. Build a scalable executive and regional events motion with sales and customer success using dinners, roundtables, and experiential programs. Start with account objectives and desired outcomes before launching programs.
**Commercial Accountability**: Build measurement models reflecting each event's purpose—sourced pipeline, target-account engagement, opportunity progression, executive relationships, customer expansion, or brand visibility. Partner with operations teams to connect events to broader GTM motions. Own regular reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis.
**AI Leverage**: Identify practical AI applications across audience selection, research, outreach, personalization, planning, analysis, and operations. Build repeatable workflows eliminating low-value manual work and freeing the team for strategy and relationships.
**Team Leadership**: Lead and develop a team of two event marketers, setting standards and driving execution excellence.
