As Director of Solutions Architecture, you will lead a team of solutions architects driving AI transformation for enterprise customers. You'll oversee pre-sales technical engagements including use case discovery, proof-of-concept execution, and value realization for strategic accounts. You'll partner with sales leadership to develop strategic account plans, define technical value propositions, and accelerate pipeline growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of solutions architects, fostering their technical growth and career development
- Driving successful adoption and deployment of WRITER's generative AI platform through key pre-sales engagements
- Partnering with sales and go-to-market teams on strategic account planning and technical value propositions
- Serving as executive technical sponsor for WRITER's most strategic accounts, building C-level relationships
- Influencing product roadmap through market insights and customer feedback
- Architecting robust, scalable, secure AI solutions integrating WRITER's platform with complex customer data ecosystems
- Transforming customer evaluation and proof-of-concept processes to demonstrate ROI and accelerate time-to-value
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in San Francisco, reporting directly to the VP of Solutions Architecture.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 8 years in customer-facing technical roles, with at least 4 years in management leading a pre-sales or solutions architecture team focused on enterprise software, cloud, or AI solutions
- Proven expertise leading and scaling a solutions architecture or sales engineering organization in high-growth, fast-paced technology companies
- Deep technical proficiency in generative AI, large language models (LLMs), machine learning, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Python or similar scripting languages
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex AI/ML solution implementations, understanding data pipelines, model deployment, security, and compliance in large-scale enterprise environments
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to translate technical concepts into business value for executive and technical audiences
- Ability to mentor teams to communicate effectively
