As Director of Solution Consulting for CRM across the UK, Ireland, and Scotland, you will lead the pre-sales engine for ServiceNow's CRM business in this region. You manage first-line Solution Consulting managers and individual contributors, serving as the leader closest to customer deals and responsible for day-to-day execution. Key responsibilities include: **Revenue & Deal Ownership**: Carry accountability for UKI CRM Net New ACV (NNACV) targets and contribute to EMEA double-digit ACV growth. Forecast technical win rates and deal-by-deal readiness, escalating risks early to the AVP. Work with UKI CRM sales leaders to focus Solution Consulting resources on high-win-rate opportunities, use cases, and industries. **Deal Visibility & Execution**: Maintain detailed, current knowledge of each team's active opportunities, technical stage, proof-of-value status, and next steps. Participate in key customer, POV, and escalation discussions where technical credibility or senior air cover is needed. Act on pipeline insights in weekly rhythms rather than quarterly reviews. **Blocker Removal & Team Focus**: Serve as the first escalation point for anything slowing deals—environment access, resourcing conflicts, unclear scope, product gaps, or competing demands. Protect team time by clearing distractions and ensuring individual contributors focus on high-impact deals. Ensure every IC understands expectations and has necessary resources. **Leadership & Development**: Coach first-line managers on deal reviews, technical strategy, and POV execution. Recruit, develop, and retain strong technical talent; build a bench of ready-now first-line leaders. Provide direct, regular feedback to ICs and managers; address performance issues early. **Team Alignment & Motivation**: Recognize wins visibly and maintain high morale and momentum. Run joint pipeline and deal reviews with CRM sales, value, partner, and product counterparts to operate as one engine. Agree coverage, account plans, and proof strategy with Account Executives before customer engagement. **POV & AI-Driven Selling**: Drive the shift to proof-of-value-centric selling and the Forward Deployed Engineer model. Use AI automation tools and standard POV frameworks to speed up demos, environment provisioning, and repeatable assets. **Product Feedback**: Channel technical wins, losses, and product gaps from your team to the AVP and CRM product leaders using specific, deal-level examples. You report to the AVP, EMEA CRM Solution Consulting, who sets regional strategy and direction. This is an execution-focused role: your job is to remove blockers, keep the team focused and motivated, and make the Solution Consulting engine run fast. **Requirements**: - 6+ years in a leadership role in Solution Consulting or comparable pre-sales or technical sales function, including managing first-line leaders and individual contributors - Credible on deals: can scope a POV, work through architecture questions, or join customer calls without losing the thread - Consistent record of owning and delivering against ACV/NNACV or equivalent revenue-tied targets in a software or SaaS environment - Experience leading distributed teams across the UK, Ireland, and Scotland; ability to operate effectively across cultures, languages, and time zones - Working understanding of the CRM market and how AI and agentic automation are changing it - Fluency with AI and automation tools; bias toward using them to simplify work - Experience moving a team from demo-centric to POV/proof-of-value-centric selling - Clear, direct communication; ability to set standards and hold first-line leaders accountable - Good operating judgment: knows when to escalate, decide, or step back - Talent-focused leader who can recruit, develop, and retain strong technical leaders and ICs - Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent work experience - Expected to travel up to 40% of the time on average across the UK, Ireland, and Scotland
