Precision for Medicine is seeking a Director of Site Start-up to lead the Site Start-up (SSU) department across Europe. This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the SSU function, which manages clinical trial site initiation activities including informed consent form review, regulatory document collection, IRB/EC/CA submissions, and site contract negotiations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and guiding the SSU team on project delivery, communication, HR, revenue enhancement, and process improvement
- Managing site start-up delivery through direct team management and cross-functional oversight of regulatory submissions, site contracts, and budget negotiations
- Collaborating with the Head of Site Start-up to establish SSU frameworks, tools, and methodologies for global execution
- Working with Clinical Operations, project management, and other departments on SSU planning and governance
- Providing leadership on complex, high-revenue programs and managing escalations
- Optimizing processes to meet profitability and budget targets
- Partnering with Global Resourcing on team assessment and management
- Supporting team career development, succession planning, and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Coordinating SSU participation in client meetings and business development activities
- Developing and reporting on SSU KPIs and driving continuous improvement
- Acting as a change management ambassador for organizational growth and expansion
The role requires expertise in clinical trial operations, regulatory compliance (ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices), and team leadership. Candidates can work remotely from the UK, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia, or Romania.
