Precision for Medicine is seeking a Director of Real World Evidence to lead a team of research professionals conducting health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) studies for pharmacy and biotech clients. This is a leadership role reporting to a Vice President, combining project management, client relationship ownership, and line management responsibilities.
In this position, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams, serving as the primary client contact and project manager. You will be responsible for ensuring study quality, developing research recommendations, managing project risks and timelines, and providing final sign-off on all deliverables including protocols, statistical analysis plans, technical reports, and presentations. You will act as the final decision-maker on project matters and hold accountability for outcomes, timely delivery, and financial performance.
As a client manager, you will own client relationships, serve as the subject matter expert on calls and communications, manage client expectations proactively, and work with team members to solve problems. You will also participate in business development activities, including sales calls, study conceptualization, and proposal drafting.
Line management responsibilities include staffing decisions, mentoring direct reports, and creating development plans to ensure positive team dynamics and staff wellbeing.
Required qualifications include 8–10 years of experience with at least four years in a consulting environment, and a Master's degree in a health-related field such as health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health. You must demonstrate strong financial acumen, ability to manage and mentor teams, and excellent communication skills. A PhD in a related field is helpful, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
