Okta is seeking a Director of Product Management for its Identity Threat Detection and Response Products. This is a director-level individual contributor role focused on driving the evolution of Okta's identity security offerings, including Identity Threat Protection with Okta AI, ThreatInsight, and Network Zones.
Key responsibilities include defining product strategy and roadmap for identity security to maintain Okta's leadership position, evangelizing vision to engineering teams and customers, and developing a comprehensive roadmap that prioritizes features enhancing both security posture and administrative usability. You'll ensure timely, on-budget delivery of the security product roadmap while collaborating closely with architecture, engineering, and design teams to create platform-first experiences.
The role requires deep customer engagement to understand identity-centric threats, access control, and network security challenges. You'll work with engineering and product teams to capture detailed security requirements, incorporate beta customer feedback into iterations, and maintain close relationships during beta programs. Collaboration with technical marketing and sales is essential to understand competitive positioning and inform go-to-market strategy.
You'll own the product end-to-end, maintaining a customer-success focus while actively unblocking sales and assisting customers with security issues. Responsibilities include supporting the field on critical requests, leading quarterly business reviews, and identifying new product opportunities to expand the identity security portfolio. Data-driven decision-making is critical—you'll leverage analytics to inform strategic choices and track product usage metrics tied to security outcomes and business success.
