Cyberhaven is building Flow, a unified data security platform spanning Human Data Security, Agentic Data Security, and Data Security Posture Management. The company serves security analysts, insider-risk investigators, and data protection leaders—experts doing demanding work under time pressure who live in the product all day. As AI agents become actors inside the enterprise, the design must serve both humans and agents.
You will lead the design team and own the end-to-end product experience across Flow and its three components. You will set the experience vision for the platform, define interaction patterns for security work that blends human judgment with agentic automation, and lead designers and researchers to make it real.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the complete product design experience across all platform components, from daily analyst workflows to platform cohesion
- Define next-generation experience vision for human-AI collaboration: agent-assisted investigation, human-in-the-loop decisions, explainability, and trust/override patterns
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of product designers; raise standards for craft and design critique
- Own the UX research function, grounding work in customer interviews, usability testing, support signals, and product instrumentation
- Partner with product and engineering from the earliest stage, shaping problem definition rather than styling finished decisions
- Build and evolve the design system and patterns for consistent, fast shipping
- Establish design metrics: usability benchmarks, task success, time to resolution, adoption, support deflection
- Drive experience work for platform migration, making the transition something customers want
- Represent customer experience in executive forums with clear, honest assessment of product standing
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will raise the craft bar, grow your team, and remain close enough to the work to have an independent point of view on what to build.
